Trackmania 2 Canyon is a specific environment of Trackmania that came out in 2012. It was widely inspired from American landscapes from Utah and Nevada. People might know less about because its esport scene is much smaller. However, it is still to this day played and records are still being beaten after all the years. Huge fan of the car design, I have always been super opened for people wanting a livery on the canyon car. A different challenge is obviously always welcome. What a particularly enjoy with it is the freedom you can have on the lightning of the cars. I enjoyed a lot working on different light design. So far I have only done three of them, in the chronological order:
Hypeboys 2018 : A rather classic Red Bull themed livery with a very aggressive look allowed from the brushed and scratched paint.
Rasta 2020 : The livery was used live on Twitch during the ESA Marathon by Rasta in an attempt to break the World Record for the Trackmania Canyon Speedrun The color combination inspired from ESA and the different sponsors wasn't easy to play with at all. Involving green with yellow and purple initially felt rather deadly, but I'm absolutely delighted with the final outcome.
Yogosun 2020: Yogosun is one the fastest Trackmania Canyon player and recently drove new official world records. As for the design, I worked a lot to produce a very unique design around the light, especially taillights, that is matching pretty well with the canyon car. Concerning the livery, plenty of work was done with the right colors, in the end, and because I love this car, I went for two liveries. Initially, the design was inspired from Andy Werner's Porsche 911 RSR le Mans 2020 liveries. Which one do you like it best, glossy red or dizzy white?
